About Ground Station
The major role of the ground station is to keep link the communication with SEEDS in space.
After the launch,we will estimate the orbit of satellite and get ready for operating the SEEDS.
And then estimate the status of SEEDS at operating by analyzing the downlink data.
The ground station will enter its key stage after SEEDS will be launched.
We will use 437.485MHz for downlink ,and VHF amateur band for uplink.
We hope the amateur radio people in the world will enjoy receiving the downlink data of SEEDS and send us the data,not just our college.
Now we are testing our ground station for smooth operation of SEEDS.。
Our Ground station has the amateur cross Yagi antennas for amateur radio communication on the top of the Building#3 in Funabashi Campus of our college,
and installed the amateur radio communication system, the satellite tracker, and the PCs for data processing in the operation room just below the antenna system.
We will make satellite communication with Cube Sat in this room.
In the operating of SEEDS,we will track the CW beacon,transmit the uplink comand,and receive the downlink data in this room.
